Privacy Policy
Geographic Availability Notice: DC's Pro-Spect operates one facility in York County, Pennsylvania and is intended for residents of the United States. We do not intentionally collect or process data from individuals residing outside the United States.
What DC Sports is
DC's Pro-Spect measures, films, and photographs athletes preparing for college recruiting, and gives each family a package of that material to keep. It is a capture and delivery service, not a team-management or league app. This is a different product than the one this codebase was originally built for, and this policy has been rewritten to describe DC Sports only. [TBD] the legal name and structure of the operating entity has not been finalized. Until it is, this policy should be read as describing the facility's operator in general terms only.
Information we collect
We collect an athlete's name and basic identifying details, and a parent or guardian's name, email, and phone number, so a family can be matched to their session and receive their package. We also collect performance and measurement data recorded during a capture session (things like height, timed drills, and similar athletic measurements), and photo or video captured during that session.
Personal identifying information and performance data are kept separate in our systems. A record of an athlete's measurements or footage is not the same record as their name, contact details, or other personal information, even though both belong to the same athlete.
[TBD] exact retention periods for measurement data, footage, and account records have not been set. This section will be updated once they are.

Consent to be filmed or photographed
Consent to film or photograph an athlete is collected by the facility, not by us directly, at the time of a specific capture session. It applies to that session only. A consent given for one visit or one year does not carry forward and does not authorize filming at a later visit.
- An athlete cannot be assigned an event number for a capture session without recorded consent to be filmed or photographed for that session.
- Nothing captured of an athlete is published or made publicly available without a separate, recorded consent specifically permitting public publication.
- A parent or guardian gives this consent in person at the facility, using the facility's own consent form and language. We do not obtain this consent ourselves and do not use a parent's past consent to justify a future capture session.
Children's photos and video
Capture sessions routinely involve minors. [TBD] the full set of practices around storage, review, and takedown of a minor's photo or video has not been finalized. What we can say today:
- Media is captured only when the session-level consent described above has been recorded.
- Media is not published publicly unless a separate public-publish consent has also been recorded for that session.
- [TBD] how long raw, unpublished footage of a minor is retained. This has not been decided and is flagged for legal review before it is decided.
- [TBD] the process for a parent or guardian to request review or removal of their child's captured media has not been built yet.
Data retention & deletion
[TBD] We do not yet have finalized retention and deletion timelines to publish here. A parent or guardian who wants their family's information reviewed, corrected, or removed should contact us using the information in Contact, below, and we will respond directly rather than relying on an automated process that does not exist yet.
Third-party data processors
We use Supabase, Inc. as our infrastructure and database provider. Supabase stores our data solely to provide hosting and database services to us, and does not use it for its own purposes.
[TBD] Media storage (photo and video files) is planned to move to a dedicated storage provider that has not been set up yet. Until it is, this section will be updated to name it. [TBD] whether email, text-message, or payment providers are in active use for DC Sports has not been finalized, and none are described here until they are confirmed in use.

Data security
Captured media and personal information are stored in access-controlled systems, not in public storage with an open link. [TBD] a fuller description of our security practices is pending legal and technical review.
Your rights (Pennsylvania)
Under Pennsylvania law and standard privacy practice, you may ask to access, correct, or delete your or your child's personal data. To do so, use the contact information below. [TBD] a firm response timeline has not been set.
Contact
DC's Pro-Spect does not yet have a verified contact email published for privacy questions. Use [CONTACT EMAIL — TBD] as a placeholder only. Do not treat any email address elsewhere in this app as the correct address for a privacy or data-deletion request until this section is updated with a real, verified one. In the meantime, a request about a specific athlete's data can be directed to the facility directly.
